Linking industry systems
In partnership with many of the waste industry’s leading suppliers of management software platforms, we have developed APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to improve the transfer of information, limit duplication and minimise the risk of human error. These APIs are enabling Reconomy Connect’s many customers and regional supply chain partners to seamlessly integrate their back-end programmes with Reconomy Connect’s own systems, enabling fast, dynamic two-way data transfer. This means that new orders placed by Reconomy Connect’s customers can now be automatically, digitally and securely passed across and assigned to the appropriate supply chain transport teams, without the need for any manual intervention. Upon completion, details of the job are then fed back seamlessly into Reconomy Connect’s online Portal, giving the customer direct access to the completed job information and enabling access to a range of reports and auditing aids.

All of our supply chain partners are carefully audited to ensure that they are not only compliant with waste management legislation, but also to ensure they meet the high levels of service that we expect. Our in-house compliance team are continually monitoring changes in legislation, and work closely with our supply chain to inform them of any updates that impact them or how they operate with us. This means that you can rest easy knowing your waste management processes are compliant, without having to audit your suppliers yourself, which is one less administrative burden that you need to deal with.
