Trinity Claims

Reconomy Connect and Trinity Claims: tailor made solutions for your business

Trinity Claims, a national claims reclamation company based in both Redditch and Tonbridge, approached Reconomy Connect in early 2024 after becoming dissatisfied with their previous waste management provider.

Their former supplier prioritised van collections even when skips were the more suitable and cost-effective solution. As a result, Trinity Claims experienced:

  • Increased operational costs
  • Waste left on customers’ driveways and lawns
  • Delays to project completion
  • Poor recycling performance
  • Insufficient reporting

Trinity Claims required a partner who could deliver a national, responsive, compliant, and sustainable waste solution tailored to the needs of their customers’ homes.

The Objectives

Reconomy Connect set out to provide a fully optimised service designed around Trinity Claims operational challenges and customer outcomes:

  • Cost-effective and operationally efficient: providing the right waste solution for each job, not the one that benefitted the provider most.
  • Fast and minimally disruptive: ensuring quick turnaround times and avoiding issues such as skips being left on driveways for extended periods.
  • Sustainable and transparent: raising recycling levels, reducing waste to landfill, and providing full reporting visibility through a centralised system.
  • National, reliable, and capable: able to manage complex or unexpected waste streams, including fire-damaged materials and hazardous waste such as asbestos.
  • Supported by excellent customer care: reliable communication, accurate scheduling, and regular account reviews to maintain performance and solve issues quickly.

The Outcome

Reconomy Connect delivered measurable, wide-reaching improvements across Trinity Claims operations:

Operational Performance

  • True nationwide coverage, accelerating job completion times.
  • Flexible, best-fit solutions to reduce costs.
  • Rapid response times, enabling faster completion of customer work.
  • Reduced project delays, due to reliable scheduling and partner performance.

Cost Savings & Risk Reduction

  • Expert advice prevented costly errors such as unsuitable service types, unnecessary permits, or prohibited waste mixing.
  • Data-led refinements cut collection costs and improved route efficiency.
  • Centralised ordering, invoicing, and reporting saved Trinity Claims significant admin time and overheads.

Customer Service & Compliance

  • Proactive account management ensured issues were rare and quickly resolved.
  • Six-month account reviews maintained continuous improvement.
  • Full compliance assurance across all jobs through a rigorously vetted supply chain.

Sustainability

  • Increased recycling levels and reduced material to landfill.
  • Better waste tracking enabled Trinity Claims to monitor and hit sustainability targets.
  • Responsible handling of complex waste types ensured both compliance and environmental care.

Sustainability Impact

Trinity Claims said “We’re proud to share the results of our sustainability efforts at Trinity Claims First Response (TFR) in partnership with Reconomy Connect.

Over the past year, TFR generated 960 tonnes of waste from policyholder content removals and strip-out works.

Thanks to our collaboration with Reconomy Connect, we’re thrilled to report that:

  • 921 tonnes were successfully diverted from landfill and recycled
  • Only 39 tonnes ended up in landfill

This achievement is a key step in reducing our carbon footprint and driving greener outcomes in our operations.”

This represents an impressive 96% diversion from landfill, reinforcing our role in helping Trinity Claims deliver on their sustainability commitments.
